Squirrels – Big Adventures for Little Explorers
Squirrels is the newest and most exciting start to the Scouting journey, designed especially for children aged 4 to 6. At 1st Pinhoe Scout Group, our Squirrels meet every Friday from 4:45 to 5:45pm – and each week is packed with fun, discovery, and friendship.
From outdoor play and creative crafts to simple life skills and storytelling, Squirrels learn through hands-on activities that spark their curiosity and build confidence. It’s a place where little ones can explore the world around them in a safe, nurturing environment while developing key skills like teamwork, kindness, and resilience.
Squirrels wear their very own red uniform and work towards fun badges and challenges that help them grow – all while making friends and having loads of fun.
At 1st Pinhoe, we believe it’s never too early to start an adventure. Squirrels is the perfect place for young minds to begin their journey in Scouting.
