Our Sections

At 1st Pinhoe Scout Group, we’re passionate about providing fun, adventure, and meaningful opportunities for young people to grow, learn, and thrive. Whether they’re just starting out or gaining confidence as young leaders, our programme is designed to support every stage of their journey.

We offer four exciting sections tailored to different age groups:

      Squirrels (4–6 years) – Where the adventure begins with fun, friendship, and learning through play.

      Beavers (6–8 years) – Exploring the world around them, learning new skills, and building confidence.  

      Cubs (8–10½ years) – Taking on new challenges, working as a team, and discovering new talents.

      Scouts (10½–14 years) – Developing independence, leadership, and resilience through adventure and community involvement.

Scouting at Pinhoe is all about giving every young person the chance to shine – whether it’s camping under the stars, earning badges, trying new activities, or helping their local community. We believe in preparing young people with skills for life in a safe, inclusive, and exciting environment.
